Partnership Scope Acknowledgement:

Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin has limitations on staffing, volunteers, promotional support, financial contributions, and event execution. All requests are evaluated based on mission alignment, capacity, timing, and organizational priorities.

READ BEFORE SUBMITTING: FAEW Partnership Limitations

If a request includes any of the below, it should be communicated as outside of FAEW’s scope before submission. 

Immediate “No” Indicators: To help set clear expectations during external conversations, Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin does not support the following as part of partnerships or events.

Staffing & Volunteers: Providing dedicated staff to manage or run partner-led events. Staffing or volunteer support without adequate advance notice. Recruiting or coordinating more than 50 volunteers for a single external event. Volunteers for roles that are primarily promotional, sales-based, or not mission-aligned. Volunteers for events without clearly defined roles, supervision, or safety protocols.

Marketing & Promotion: Printing, designing, or funding promotional or marketing materials. Guaranteed promotion via FAEW email or social media channels. Paid or boosted advertising on behalf of partners. Promotion requests submitted after internal deadlines

Financial & Resources: Sponsorship funding or covering event-related costs. Financial underwriting or revenue guarantees. Lending equipment, technology, or branded assets. Providing food or product without an approved distribution plan.

Event Execution & Brand Use: Full event planning or execution services for external partners. Contracting vendors, speakers, venues, or entertainment on a partner’s behalf. Use of FAEW’s logo or brand without formal approval. Partnerships that conflict with FAEW’s mission, values, or existing relationships.
