Join Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin, in partnership with Woodward Community Media and Pick ‘n Save on Thursday, May 22 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Appleton Pick ‘n Save (2700 N. Ballard Road) for the 7th Annual Combat Hunger, a day-long food and funds drive benefiting military veterans in Northeast Wisconsin.

Community members are encouraged to drop off non-perishable food and cash donations throughout the day during this event, as well as purchase gift cards directly through area Pick ‘n Save stores. Gift card donations will be split between several local veterans organizations. All food donations will be distributed to one of the local organizations after the event.

2024’s Combat Hunger event raised over 2,300 pounds of food and $16,300 in monetary donations, the equivalent of nearly 67,000 meals to veterans and their families in Northeast Wisconsin.
