Letter From the President and CEO

Dear Friend,
It is an honor to write my first letter to you as President and CEO of Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin. I’m grateful to join an organization with a strong legacy of compassion, and I’m especially thankful for supporters like you who make this work possible every day. Your generosity helps ensure our neighbors across Eastern Wisconsin have access to the food they need to live healthy and hopeful lives.
As I step into this role, one issue that weighs heavily on my heart is childhood hunger. Right here in our region, 1 in 6 children struggle with hunger. It’s true that the start of the school year will bring a return of free or reduced-price breakfasts and lunches for many children. But we still have several critical weeks of summer left. With your support, we can help children get the steady source of nutritious food they need right now so they can return to the classroom feeling recharged, nourished, and ready to learn.
