Governor Evers Appoints Patti Habeck to DATCP Board

Gov. Tony Evers announced the appointment of Patti Habeck to the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP) Board, effective July 16, 2025.
Ms. Habeck joins the DATCP Board with decades of experience in organizational leadership and regulatory compliance. As President and CEO of Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin, the state’s largest hunger relief organization, Ms. Habeck has led the food bank through significant strategic and financial transformation, strengthening its capacity to provide nutritious food to families across 35 counties.

Evers for appointing Ms. Habeck as the newest member of the DATCP Board,” said DATCP Secretary Randy Romanski. “Ms. Habeck understands the importance of community engagement and has experience connecting hardworking Wisconsin farmers and hungry people in our communities. I look forward to working with her on the DATCP Board.”
Ms. Habeck holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire and a Master of Science in Education from the University of Wisconsin – Platteville.

About Patti Habeck:
As Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin’s President and CEO, Patti Habeck leads the largest hunger relief organization in the state. With a footprint of 35 counties, she supports a network of nearly 600 hunger relief partners and trusted community-based programs. Patti currently serves as a board chair for Feeding Wisconsin, the state association of Feeding America food banks; a council member at the University of Green Bay Council of Trustees; and consumer representative of the Board of Agriculture, Trade, and Consumer Protection.
She previously served as an executive board member of FaB Wisconsin, the statewide food and beverage industry cluster organization. She received the Milwaukee Business Journal’s 2024 Women of Influence award, the 2024 Wisconsin Titan 100 award, the 2025 Wisconsin Titan 100 Award, and Northwestern Mutual Leadership Award at the Donald Driver Foundation’s 2019 Driven to Achieve event. She also received the ATHENA Leadership Award from the Fox Cities Chamber Pinnacle Awards ceremony.
Patti earned a Bachelor’s of Science from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and a master’s degree in Education from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville.
