Stuff the Bus

With Thanksgiving fast approaching, several community organizations are coming together to help those in need by hosting one of the largest holiday food drives in the state!
Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin’s 29th Annual Stuff the Bus event kicks off at 12 p.m. on Saturday, November 21st at Pick ‘n Save (8770 S. Howell Avenue) in Oak Creek and continues throughout the day until 3 p.m.
Donors are asked to bring non-perishable food items from home, or purchase pre-packed “Sack Hunger Bags” for $5 at the check-out line at the Oak Creek Pick ‘n Save to fill the Milwaukee County Transit System bus parked in front of the store. Supporters may also make monetary donations in-person during the event or online to ensure our neighbors in need have nutritious food to eat, not just during the holidays, but all year long
Elizabeth & Radar from 99.1 The Mix will be on location throughout the day, as well as guest appearances from several well-known sports mascots, community leaders, first responders, and even Santa! Special thank you to our incredibly generous partners for this event – Elizabeth, Radar, and the entire staff at Audacy / 99.1 The Mix, Milwaukee County Transit System, Pick ‘n Save, and Metro Market.
