Providing Food to Help Seniors Thrive
The Greater Galilee Senior Grocery Program, led by Greater Galilee Baptist Church in partnership with Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin, was developed to ensure seniors in Milwaukee have access to the healthy, nutritious food they need. Older neighbors enjoy a hot meal while there, and then receive a bag of food to take back home. Each month, Greater Galilee distributes more than 5,000 pounds of fresh produce and dry goods to seniors, helping older neighbors thrive.
