Serving on the Court and Off

It’s been an amazing season thus far for the Milwaukee Bucks and we couldn’t be more excited to show our support. The Bucks are more than just talent on the court, they’ve made a significant impact on the community and our mission to solving hunger.

Milwaukee Bucks head coach Mike Budenholzer partnered with Feeding Wisconsin to raise awareness and fight hunger by donating $15 for every assist this regular season. Assists for Hunger raised $31,250, which can provide 93,000 meals to Wisconsin families.

Coach Bud and the Bucks also raised funds for Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin by hosting a unique dining experience. Instead of serving up the assists in there jerseys,  Giannis Antetokounmpo, Khris Middleton, Eric Bledsoe and many other Bucks players donned aprons and served up entrées at an exclusive dinner.

Chef Justin Carlisle of Ardent and Chef Jarvis Williams of SURG on the Water prepared the delicious dinner served by the Milwaukee Bucks team. It was an intimate experience where attendees got to meet the players and support a great cause. The Coach Bud Dinner was the first of its kind in Milwaukee and  raised enough funding to provide 363,000 meals to those facing hunger in our community.

So while we root for the Bucks during the semifinals, know we’re also rooting for them because they’re a team that gives back, a team that goes above and beyond to show that they care. Thank you for your commitment to fighting hunger and strengthening communities. Go Bucks!
