Farm Link is a community food hub that uses the power of Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin to develop the local food system. We work with schools, hospitals and other buyers of local food and connect them with some of the best local farmers. In doing this, we access surplus food that can be redistributed to our hunger-relief partners.
Farm Link also works to transform the food system into a resilient driver of food justice, racial equity, health, sustainable farming and thriving communities. This entails creating deeply trusting relationships across a variety of boundaries, inspiring a more holistic and systemic conversation about food and sustainability, and addressing fundamental issues of power, privilege and inequality.
