Downtown Appleton Street Music Week

It’s not about virtuosity, it’s about generosity! Enjoy some music and help feed the hungry at the same time. The second annual Downtown Appleton Street Music Week is June 9-13, from noon-1 p.m. each day. All activities will take place on College Avenue, between Drew Street and Walnut Street. Bring an instrument to jam on the street or just enjoy local performers as they raise funds to support the fight against hunger. All proceeds benefit Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin.

Last year, $1,500 was raised to provide over 7,600 meals for hungry children, families and seniors in eastern Wisconsin.

If you’d like to perform, register any time after 11 a.m. on your selected performance day(s) at Heid Music, 308 E. College Avenue. Contact Audrey Hendrickson at 920-734-1969 or with questions, to pre-register as a performer, or for more information.

Appleton is a Street Music Week sister-city to Spokane, WA. See for more details.
